Rolex Explorer Two-Tone Ref. 124273. Finally got to see the explorer two-tone while traveling as an exhibition piece. The dial was stunning! It seems like there has been very little talk about the model on the forum. I was just about to order a 39mm Explorer, but I had a premonition that the Milgauss Z Blue was on the way out and ordered it on Friday last week. The rest is history. Just got it yesterday. I have been thinking about purchasing an Explorer 1 as believe they have a sort of class about the model without being to stand out. I currently have a Sub Bluesy but would keep this and go for an Explorer for day to day wear. Does the forum think this would be a good solid watch to purchase??
Explorer I - 39mm. If you really want one, it will look good on you, no doubt. My wrist size is between 7.25 and 7.5”. To keep it simple, I usually just say 7.25”. When I tried one on a couple years back, it definitely wore smaller than my Submariner 114060, which I consider the perfect fit for me.
