The 36 is actually the best overall use of space on the dial. 41 accommodates the same size movement in a larger case resulting in more unused real estate on the dial. I'd say go with the fluted 41mm. Go into an AD and try on the 36. I did and was shocked by how small it looked. 6.5" wrists. Many wear them on wrists up to 8” but at that point I’d definitely say go with the 41mm. For you at around 7’’ or possibly less, you could do either size.the 41 will look “sporty’ whereas the 36 will look a little more dressy.
